The ProLiant DL145 is a server specifically optimized for the high-performance Computing (HPC) market. The ProLiant DL145 server, designed and built with leading performance features in mind, the model is equipped with AMD Opteron™ 200 series processors with an integrated memory controller running at processor speed, as well as PC2700 dual-channel memory expandable up to 16 GB, a built-in Gigabit dual-channel NIC controller and PCI-X 133 MHz I/O slots. The model supports the use of two ATA or SCSI hard drives without the possibility of hot swapping. Thanks to its small size (1U), low power consumption and dual-processor architecture with Opteron processors, HPC customers receive an inexpensive, high-performance, compact solution.
