The IBM TS3200 tape library is ideal for both small and medium-scale IT environments. It uses one or two full-height LTO tape drives or four half-height tape drives. This system provides 48 slots for tape type cartridges. All this characterizes the library as a cost-effective solution that allows you to fully increase the capacity of the data storage system using LTO technology. LTO drives allow you to transfer uncompressed data at speeds up to 120 MB/s.
